Robert F. Anderson '45

Bob Anderson entered the Chapter Eternal on February 4, 2014. He was 91.

Bob was born August 22, 1922 in Evanston, Ill. He enrolled at DePaul University on an athletic scholarship, but left after one semester to enroll in the U.S. Marines to fight in World War II. He was stationed in the South Pacific. After the war, he enrolled in radio classes in California on the G.I. Bill.

Eventually, Bob opened the Robert F. Anderson Co., an advertising agency with offices in Hollywood, Calif. The Southern California Broadcasters Association named him recipient of its Lifetime Achievement Award in 1994, which was just the third such award that association had given in its then-58-year history.

All honor to his name.
